Medway South Road Flying Club was originally formed on 24th November 2001 and was at that time known as Manor Farm racing pigeon club due to the location of its headquarters. There were originally eleven members excluding partnerships but only one original member remains in the newly named club.
Unfortunately the club was unable to remain at Manor Farm and subsequently moved to the Dewdrop Public House as from 3rd November 2006. The portable building in the grounds of the Dewdrop was originally the headquarters of the Twydall Invitation racing pigeon club which amalgamated with Strood & Gillingham racing clubs due to diminishing membership. Starting with the 2015 season the club moved premises to the Rainham Mark Social Club, London Road, Gillingham. At the bginning of the 2018 season the club returned to the Manor Farm premises.
